Chapter 1
Introduction and Overview
Any of us who’ve been to church for a long time, especially a church that believes in healing, haven heard about healing. We have probably been taught that healing is God’s will. We believe in healing because we see it in Scripture. But at the same time, most people than not aren’t as healthy as they would like
WHY IS THAT?
We’re going to go through various reasons throughout this course based on scriptures. People have come up with all kinds of reasons why some might not be healed. But we are going to look at the Word
of God, as well as observations I have seen in my over fifty years studying the Bible, in order to find any blockages and hindrances
In order to be to be able to build doctrine and form strong beliefs, you have to have lots of scripture.
Chapter 2
Foundational Scriptures
This chapter focuses on establishing a scriptural foundation for the will of God to heal, emphasizing the necessity of believing in God’s desire to heal as a prerequisite for receiving and experiencing His healing provision. It challenges readers to set aside preconceived notions and approach the scriptures with an open mind to discover God’s truth about healing. The chapter underscores that healing is an integral part of God’s nature and is available to believers through Jesus’ redemptive work.
The chapter emphasizes that Jesus’ ministry demonstrated God’s will to heal all who are sick, fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 53, where it says that Jesus bore our sicknesses. It encourages believers to partake of the Word of God, allowing it to transform their thinking and align them with God’s perspective on healing.
Furthermore, the chapter presents healing as part of God’s benefit package for believers, urging them not to neglect this provision.
Chapter 3
The Healing Ministry of Jesus
This chapter focuses on Jesus’ healing ministry as a key revelation of God’s will and character. It asserts that Jesus’ earthly ministry, characterized by teaching, preaching, and healing, was a perfect representation of God’s desire for humanity’s health and well-being. The chapter also emphasizes that Jesus’ compassion for the sick was a driving force behind His healing ministry, illustrating God’s loving-kindness and concern for those who suffer.
Jesus is the clearest and most accurate representation of God, so we need to understand God through Jesus’ actions and words. By examining Jesus’ ministry, one can discern God’s heart for healing and His unwavering compassion towards the sick.
The chapter concludes by encouraging readers to actively engage with scriptures about Jesus’ healing ministry and compassion, to renew their minds to see Jesus as the Bible presents HIm.

Chapter 8
Physical Aspects of Walking in Health
In this chapter, we are going to talk about some mental and emotional aspects of walking in health.
Scripture has much to say about thoughts and emotions and how they connect with the physical body. The Bible instructs us what to think, how to think, and things not to think. Negative thoughts and emotions can significantly affect our physical health.
Stress, often caused by negative thoughts working through emotions, is a leading contributor to disease and premature death. If we continue to harbor negative thoughts and emotions, we will experience negative consequences in our physical health, as well as harmful and unpleasant feelings.
What do we do with our minds to stay healthy?
Chapter 9
Mental & Emotional Aspects of Walking in Health
This chapter discusses the importance of considering physical habits like diet and exercise for maintaining health, acknowledging that while spiritual well-being is most important, God also cares about our physical bodies.
It explains how overwork and neglecting rest can lead to health issues, using the example of Epaphroditus and the Japanese concept of “Karoshi”.
The chapter further emphasizes the necessity of regular rest, drawing from the biblical example of the Sabbath, and highlights the components of a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition and exercise.
It covers our three-fold immune system and how to keep strong and balanced as well as some pillars of health.
Chapter 10
Health and Long Life & Conclusions
We are going to talk about living a long life, how to do it, and who gets to decide the length of your life.
When we get rid of beliefs that are not true, beliefs that are not in the Bible, but are traditions of man, we will enjoy more of God’s benefits.
Therefore, I love to tear down traditions and strongholds. There are many of these around the idea of the length of your life.
The belief that God is in control of when it is your time to die and that nobody can stop it when it comes has been prevalent in the church. Even the people in the world who don’t believe in God as we have adopted this belief. But is it in the Bible?
